Mission

To craft wholistic, inclusive, and healing educational programs in order to make the education as a main tool to liberate the suffering that result from inequality and injustice.

To empower marginalized and vulnerable communities through skill, capacity and knowledge building in Sri Lankan through research based scientific practices and process

To create healed, skilled and transformed women, children, youth, elders and plantation labors who could assertively act and contribute in maintaining self, social and soil wellbeing and justice.

To provide caring and sharing space to uplift lives during crisis and disaster periods.

WHO WE ARE

Welcome to the Bright Social Development Foundation (BSDF), a Sri Lankan-based humanitarian and social transformation-focused organization. Established in 2015, BSDF is dedicated to promoting education and improving socio-cultural and economic conditions for the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized people in the Nuwara Eliya district.

WHERE WE WORK

The Bright Social Development Foundation (BSDF) operates in multiple provinces and districts across Sri Lanka, including the Northern, Central, Uva, and Sabaragamuwa Provinces. Our areas of focus encompass the districts of Nuwara Eliya, Kandy, Badulla, Kegalle, Jaffna, Kilinochchi, and Mannar.
